Husky Rescues | Most Intense Husky Rescue Compilation | The Dodo
The video
The Dodo puts together its most intense husky rescues. According to the description, they range "from a husky who never had human contact to another that was trapped in the middle of a pond." Then it does what The Dodo always does: "stick around to see how they transform!"
Meet the dog and the channel
This is a compilation, so there are several dogs and rescuers. The description credits The Asher House, with links to its Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, and thanks "Hanah for sharing Mingo's story," pointing to the TikTok account hannahandmingo for more of her rescue missions. The Dodo is one of the biggest animal media brands on the internet, with about 18.8 million YouTube subscribers when we checked in November 2026. The individual stories are originally from the rescuers. The Dodo packages them. [Flagged for review: if Ann wants deeper backstory, the two named rescuers' own channels are the place to research next.]
How it blew up
The compilation went up on June 9, 2024, and had about 700,000 views when we checked in November 2026. That's modest by Dodo standards. Compilations generally get fewer views than the original single-story videos, but they keep earning views as YouTube recommends them after other rescue videos. We didn't find press coverage of the compilation.
The husky science behind it
A dog who "never had human contact" is a socialization problem, not a personality problem. Dogs who don't meet people during their early socialization window, roughly 3 to 14 weeks old, can stay fearful of humans for life. Many still make big progress with slow, patient work. Huskies make that work a bit harder and a bit easier at the same time: they're naturally social with dogs, and an outgoing resident dog can teach a fearful husky that people are safe faster than a person can.
A practical tip
If you see a husky in trouble, like loose on a road or stuck somewhere, call local animal control or a breed rescue before you try anything risky. A scared dog, even a friendly one, can bite or bolt. Pros have catch poles, slip leads, traps and patience. Our Finder lists husky rescues by state.
