SIBERIAN HUSKY TRAINING! Recall Training With Your Siberian Husky!
The video
Fenrir Husky Show takes on what its own description calls "probably the hardest thing to work on with your Husky": recall. It's about nine minutes of advice on getting a Siberian Husky to come back when you call, for owners who've already chased a husky across a field at least once.
Meet the dog and the channel
Fenrir Husky Show is one of several channels from a dog-training business that brands itself Fenrir. The description links to Fenrir Canine Leaders on Instagram, sister channels called Fenrir Canine Show and Fenrir Canine Training, and paid courses: a "Perfect Puppy" course, a boot camp and a raw-food masterclass. The husky channel had about 9,200 subscribers when we checked in November 2026. The description doesn't name the trainer or a location, and we didn't find a primary source that does. [Flagged for review: thin on people, though the training content is the point.]
How it blew up
The video went up on August 8, 2020, and had about 56,000 views when we checked in November 2026. That's a steady search result, not a viral one. "Husky recall" is something people search for after a scare, and those viewers stay for nine minutes. We didn't find any press coverage.
Our take: we're glad someone made an entire video on recall alone, because it's the skill that decides whether a husky gets any freedom at all.
The husky science behind it
Recall is hard with huskies for reasons that come from the breed's history. They were bred to run for hours and to think for themselves out in front of a musher. They also have strong prey drive, so a squirrel can be more rewarding than anything you're holding. Recall is basically a contest between your reward and the environment. With a husky, the environment often wins unless you've done a lot of groundwork.
A practical tip
Teach recall as a game at home first: say the cue once, and when your dog arrives, throw a party with real meat. Move outside on a long line, and add distractions slowly. Never use your recall word for anything your husky doesn't like, like baths, nail trims or leaving the park. Use a different word for those, or go and get the dog instead.
